Due to a late cancellation by the group, Nafara's Wish, Ellenville's “Music in the Square” will be presenting the music of the Judith Tulloch Band.
Doug Snyder of The Village Muse writes, “With a potent package of original songs and inventive covers, singer-songwriter Judith Tulloch leads her band with visceral vocals and top notch guitar playing."
Born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn N.Y., Judith Tulloch discovered her passion for music as a child. Her artistic influences include jazz, classical, and rock. She has traveled extensively, performing all over the world, from New Orleans, to Seattle, the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, South East Asia, Iceland, Europe and Africa. Judith currently lives in the Hudson Valley, performing with her band throughout the tri-state area while teaching music in Orange County.
The Judith Tulloch Band includes Judith Tulloch on guitar & vocals, Keith Meyer on bass, Alex James on percussion and Steve Franchino on flute and soprano sax. You can check out Ms. Tulloch and her band at www.judithtulloch.com.
“Music in the Square” is a five-week community event happening in Ellenville. The event runs each Saturday through July and the first week of August, between 5:30PM and 7:00PM. Each week features a different musical artist from around the Hudson Valley.
